Our History
After a city-wide crusade in 1940 , held in a large Tabernacle, there were 12 people who wanted to start an Alliance Church. At the request of Rev. Staley, the superintendant of the South Atlantic District, Rev. Cecil M. Seale and his family moved to Reidsville and established an Alliance Church. On February 11, 1941, there was an organizatinal meeting and 13 people joined the church. Over the years we outgrew our church building on Forest Street and a new church was built at 1300 Freeway Drive and was dedicated to the Glory of God on February 20, 1983. Reidsville Alliance Church is a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance denomination.
